Jennifer Gladen is a children’s author, mother of three, and teacher who lives and writes in Pennsylvania. She is the author of three children’s books: A Star in theNight, Teresa’s Shadow, Caitie the Caterpillar, and Angel Donor, all through Guardian Angel Publishing. She has also written several children’s stories, poems, and articles, and started her own Catholic children's e-zine titled My Light Magazine.
Acquisitions Editor, Art Coordinator
Terri Forehand is a nurse, freelance writer, and author of The Cancer Prayer Book and a soon-to-be released children's picture book. She writes from her home nestled in the hills of Nashville, Indiana, where she and her husband have also recently opened a small quilt shop.
Saints Editor
Patricia has worked as a preschool teacher and social worker, and has volunteered as a Sunday School teacher. She is married, has four children, a son-in-law, and a grandson, and has a cat named Panda. She attends Mass almost daily, and prays the rosary at Saint Christopher and Saint Damian church. Her picture book entries have won the Writer's Digest Competition three times. She has been published in My Light Catholic Children's magazine, Leaves magazine, and Journal News. She's an active member of the SCBWI, and a member of two critique groups of children's writers, as well as the MUSE writing group.
Paper Dolls Designer, My Light Icons
Candace Hardy is a freelance illustrator from Northwest Ohio, a member of Colored Pencil Society of America, and has a great love of colored pencil portraiture--particularly animals. Candace enjoys photographing everyday life, which lends itself to her artistic style. She is honored to be sharing her work with Paws For Charity. She has illustrated for Guardian Angel Publishing and is delighted to contribute paper dolls to My Light Catholic Children's Magazine. She has two young dalmatian puppies which keep her and her family very busy.
